Nutritional Information:

Packed with a wealth of nutrients such as antioxidants, calcium, iron, magnesium, and a variety of vitamins, this superfood offers an abundance of nourishment to the body.

It has a warming and drying energy, coupled with a bitter yet creamy taste. Renowned for its ability to stimulate circulation, it not only opens the heart on a physical level but also supports emotional and spiritual well-being.

Rich in flavonoids, it helps in fortifying blood vessels. It also contains alkaloids like theobromine and caffeine, which are known to evoke feelings of bliss, well-being, joy, and provide a natural energy boost.

How to prepare:

3oz is about 2 Ceremonial doses (a tiny bit more)

If you’re preparing this for yourself, use only half of the packaged cacao.

• 1 cup of water to a boil / 2 if you’re doing 3oz for 2 servings (you can substitute with macadamia, coconut or almond milk)

• Gently place the shaved cacao into the pot. Be careful not to overheat or boil the mixture, as this can burn the cacao.

• During preparation, it's suggested to maintain a state of intention and presence. You can sing to the cacao, express gratitude, or pray. Moving slowly and respectfully can enhance the connection with the plant spirit.

• Stir the cacao until it's well mixed, then pour it into your chosen vessel.

• Traditional ceremonial cacao is usually not sweetened, though its bitter taste might be new to some. If desired, add a sweetener of your choice, such as maple syrup or vanilla paste.

• Feel free to be creative with spices. It's best to add them along with the cacao in the pot. Common choices include cayenne (which helps with absorption by increasing blood flow), salt, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, rose, and mint.

• Drink slowly. Afterwards you may feel to move your body, sing, get creative, go for a walk outside, meditate, breath-work, listen to a sound bath.
