Vegan Candy List

What’s VEGAN and what ISN’T?

Just in time for Halloween!

I love love love sweets and as a Vegan (In the past)  I was surprised to learn that Oreos were VEGAN! This inspired me to research about Candy as well. Here is a List - most of which is approved by Peta!  If you come across a Candy and you’re not quite sure if it’s Vegan- no animal deriving products- this tip below might help!

When in doubt, beware of these 4 ingredients: * gelatin (Produced with animal skin, tendons, cartilage, ligaments, and/or bones.) * carmine color (Red pigment from the crushed female cochineal insect.) * confectioner’s glaze (Made from the resinous excretions of certain insects.)

* Bone Char - some sugar may be refined with bone char

okay!

Now ON to the VEGAN CANDY LIST!
